President Bola Tinubu has signed into law the Federal University of Environment and Technology, Tai (Ogoniland) Establishment bill.
The president, during the signing at the state house Abuja was flanked by Senator Mpigi Barinada, representing Ogoniland, the National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, Minister of Education and other top Government officials.

The president later presided over the executive council meeting, the first in 2025.
