President Bola Tinubu has called on Governors and political leaders to channel more resources and policies towards catering for the needs of the poor and vulnerable.

Speaking at a Ramadan break-fast dinner at the State House on Monday night, President Tinubu emphasized the importance of selfless leadership, urging leaders to work for the benefit of the people.

The President commended the progress made so far in implementing people-oriented policies, which have led to improvements in human development indexes and economic indicators.

According to President Tinubu, the success of the ongoing economic reforms in the country is attributed to the collective efforts of his administration and the collaboration of leaders at the subnational levels.
