Ahead of President Muhammadu Buhari’s official visit to Imo State, Thursday, the Imo State government says adequate security measures have been put in place.
The President is to commission some projects executed by the Hope Uzodimma led administration.

Addressing reporters in Owerri the Imo State capital, Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba explained that Imo residents are happy and waiting anxiously to receive the President on his first official visit to Imo State, Thursday, September 9, 2021.
The Commissioner gave the assurance that security has been beefed up in and around the state, urging the people to come out in their numbers to welcome their President.
According to him, the President will be commissioning the NAZE-Nekede Polytechnic road, New Balloon Technology drainage Tunnel at Dick Tiger, Onitsha-Orlu road bypass, and the New Government house executive chambers.
