Frontline contestant, Valentine Ozigbo has emerged winner of the PDP Governorship Primary exercise polling 62 votes.
Secretary of the PDP Primary Election Committee, Philip Shaibu declared Ozigbo winner of the exercise held at the Women Development Committee in Awka the Anambra State capital.

Earlier the Chris Uba led faction had announced Ugochukwu Uba as the parallel winner of the primary elections.
A development, the Secretary of PDP Primary Election said he was not aware of.
Ozigbo polled 62 votes to defeat his closest opponents Obiora Okonkwo who scored 58 to beat Senator Uche Ekwunife with 44 votes to third position.
A total of three votes were voided.
