The prime suspect in the killing of 5-year-old Hanifa Abubakar in Kano, Abdulmalik Tanko, has accused the Police of electric shock torture to extract statements from him while in custody.

Tanko and two other suspects who were arraigned before Justice Usman Na’abba, of the Kano State High Court, also accused the police of using foul language on them.
The prime suspect’s wife, Jemila Tanko, was also among the witnesses.
