The Duke of sussex, Prince Harry and his wife, the Duchess of sussex, Meghan markle are billed to visit Nigeria in May, 2024.

The visit is expected to consolidate Nigeria’s strong hold at the Invictus games and the possibility of Nigeria, hosting the event in future.

The Invictus games is an international multi- sport event, founded by Prince Harry and first held in 2014.
It was created for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women, both serving and veterans.

The word ‘Invictus’ is Latin for ‘unconquered’, chosen as an embodiment of the fighting spirit of the wounded, injured and sick service personnel and what they can achieve, post-injury.
