Bauchi State Government has disassociated itself from the proposed nation-wide protests, describing it as anti-government.
The Secretary to the Bauchi State Government, Barrister Ibrahim Kashim, disclosed this during an emergency press conference held at the Bauchi State Government House.
Following a report that the Bauchi State Government is set to close down primary health care centres across the state, due to the planned nation-wide protests, the Bauchi State Government, through the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Ibrahim Kashim, said the state is not in support of any protests, and that it has since distanced itself from it.

Ibrahim Kashim added that those planning the protest in Bauchi State should think otherwise, as the government is fully prepared to deal with anyone found involved.
He calls on the citizens to continue with their lawful activities, as the government assures of maximum protection of lives and properties.
