Prostate cancer according to statistics by global health bodies is mostly common, particularly among the male gender, with an approximate 470,500 cases recorded annually across the globe.
In addressing the dangers associated with the disease, some health experts took to the streets of Lagos State, South-West Nigeria over the weekend, on an awareness campaign to draw attention on the need for regular screening among men with the aim of tracking the disease at the early stage.
Out of the global figures of more 470,500 cases per annum, Nigeria reportedly accounts for more than 100,000 cases which health experts blame on poor health behaviour and high cost of test kits and treatment.

Determined to change this narrative, the experts in company of some Nollywood veterans came out in their large numbers across Lagos metropolis to drive home the need for regular screening and regular exercise
