Youths in Adamawa state have joined their counterparts in other states in Northern Nigeria to protests against insecurity in Nigeria.
The protest in Yola, the state capital of Adamawa on Saturday was a peaceful one, staged by The Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG),The protesters are calling for an end to insecurity in the country.
The protesters who marched down to the police headquarters and then to the government house chanting solidarity songs called for the complete overhaul of the police system and also an end to insecurity in the country.

At the police headquarters, the state Commissioner of Police Olugbenga Adeyanju assured them of police protection, the group proceeded to the Government house, where they were received by a delegation comprising of the Governor’s Chief-of-Staff, and the Secretary to the State Government
