A civil society group under the aegis of Centre for Africa Liberation and Socio-Economic Rights, has staged a peaceful protest at the Embassy of the United States of America in Abuja, over the murder of a black American, George Floyd by a white police officer.
The protesters displayed placards saying that the death of George Floyd was an act of barbarism that was spearheaded by the white supremacists in the United States of America.
The protesters insisted that justice must be served by bringing the killers of George Floyd to book.

An official of the US Embassy Abuja was present to collect a protest letter containing the message of the activists.
