The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, Zone B, and Niger Delta Students Union Government, NIDSUG have dissociated their groups from a planned protest against the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC by some students of the Niger Delta region.
The students’ groups made their position known in a separate press briefing in Port Harcourt, rivers state.

The students say the current board and management of the NDDC, through various policies and programmes have redeemed the image of the interventionist agency.
