The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Bauchi State chapter has condemned the recent endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term by stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
In a statement signed and issued by the State Chairman, Abdurrahman Mu’azu, the party described the endorsement as disappointing and insensitive, amid rising insecurity and economic hardship across the country.
The PRP expressed concern that the endorsement comes at a time when many Nigerians are grappling with insecurity, unemployment, poor infrastructure, and worsening economic conditions.

According to the party, the move by APC stakeholders appears to be driven by political convenience rather than the genuine interests of the people, reflecting what it called a lack of concern for citizens’ welfare.
The statement added that effective leadership should be measured by a demonstrable commitment to the well-being, security, and development of the populace.
It therefore urged Nigerians to remain vigilant, reject what it described as blind endorsements, and demand accountable and responsible leadership.
