The National President of the Parents-Teachers Association of Nigeria, Haruna Danjuma has threatened to mobilize its members to pull their children and wards out of the boarding school system.
The PTA National President who spoke with AIT Abulu Osemuaghu said both Federal and State governments should hide their faces in shame for failing students of Federal Government College Birnin Yauri, Kebbi state, after having prior information about the attack.

Danjuma wondered how about three hundred armed men on motor bikes will enter a town in broad daylight and abduct innocents students from a Federal Government owned facility.
He said it is one abduction to many and called for the deployment of additional security personnel to all boarding schools; stressing that insecurity must be tackled with sincerity, and devoid of ‘dirty’ politics.
