The Presidential Taskforce on Covid-19 has urged the citizens and other stakeholders in Cross River State to follow the guidelines protocols in disseminating information on Covid-19 pandemic in the state.
The leader of a team deployed by the PTF, who is also the Executive Director of the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency said this in Calabar, Cross State capital.
He said all citizens will be informed through the NCDC whenever there is an official confirmation of the disease in the state, assuring that Federal Government will continue to partner with states including Cross River In it’s effort to contain the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.
On her part, the Cross River State Commissioner for Health and Chairman Covid-19 Taskforce Response Team,Dr Betta Edu insisted that the state is still officially Covid-19 free as at the time of filing this report.

The Seventeen man team from the Presidential Taskforce on Covid-19 was in Cross River to inspect the G-xpert and PCR Machines used in the state for testing and assessing other containment efforts by the state.
