Queen Elizabeth II: Nigeria to fly flags at half mast

The Federal Government has directed that all Flags both in Nigeria and missions abroad be flown at half mast on Sunday 11, 2022 and Monday 12, 2022.

In a statement signed the Minister of interior, Rauf Aregbesola said it was in honour of Queen Elizabeth 11, the sovereign of United Kingdom, Chairman of the Commonwealth and a global personality who died on September 8, 2022.

Aregbesola also notes that Nigerian Government Commiserates with the government and people of united Kingdom and all the affected people all over the World.
