Internal Displaced Persons, IDPs, in the three formal camps in Adamawa State, North-East Nigeria, have called on the Federal Government to repair some of their tents destroyed by rainstorm. The affected camps are those in Fufore, Malkohi, and St. Theresa.
The IDPs made the call when officials from the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development visited their camps to distribute food items to cushion the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic and make the Eid-el- Fitri celebration worthwhile.
Head of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Yola Operations Office, Midallah Iliya, said the food items, which were distributed to 656 households, will last for wo months.

The Items distributed include, rice, beans, vegetable oil and other cooking condiments.
