Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris has approved the reduction of official working hours for the state civil servants, during the month of Ramadan.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Commissioner, Ministry for Establishment, Pension and Training, Awwal Manu Dogondaji, issued to journalists in Birnin Kebbi.
From Monday to Thursday, it will now be 8a.m. to 1p.m., while Friday is 8a.m. to noon.

The normal working hours would resume at the end of the Ramadan period.
Dogondaji urged people to remain steadfast in prayer for the prevailing peace and stability in the state and Nigeria at large.
