The Sarkin Sudan of Kwantagora, Muhammad Barau has appealed to traders in the Emirate not to unnecessary increase commodities prices with the month of Ramadan fast approaching.

The Sarkin Sudan of Kwantagora made the plea in his Palace in Kwantagora when he met with the leadership of the different market associations as part of measures to curtail commodity price hike during the fasting period.

The royal father reminded the traders that consumers are not supposed to be subjected to hardship by inflating the prices of commodities especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

The leaders of the various market associations commended the Sarkin Sudan of Kwantagora for the meeting; assuring him that their members will not increase the prices of their commodity during Ramadan and even thereafter.
