President Bola Tinubu has donated seven thousand bags of rice to Zamfara APC members as a personal assistance for the Ramadan.

Handing over the commodity to the party executives in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital, the Minister of State for Defence Bello Matawalle said that the foodstuff is a personal donation from President Bola Tinubu.

He urged members of the party to continue to pray for the return of peace in the state as the Federal Government is taking all the necessary steps in tackling the menace of banditry and other criminal activities in the state and the entire Northwest region.

The Minister of State for Defence was represented at the event by Zamfara State APC Chairman, Tukur Danfulani.

He said the gesture is to appreciate the efforts of APC leadership in the state for their hard work, dedication, and loyalty, which is making the party stronger and more united.

The 7000 bags of rice are to be distributed free to all target beneficiaries from state executives, local government areas up to ward level for them to celebrate the forthcoming Eid celebrations with ease.

Receiving the gifts on behalf of the party members, the state APC secretary, Ibrahim Dangaladima thanked the minister for the gesture, saying it came at the right time when people are battling with conflicting daily needs.

He assured that all targeted persons will receive their share as expected.
