Raymond Dokpesi Posthumous Birthday: Kano Govt. Says Late Media Icon Recreated Himself In Others

Kano state government says late Raymond Dokpesi immortalized and re-created himself in those he invested in and provided lasting visionary legacies through his media outlets while he was alive.

Kano State Commissioner for Information Baba Dantiye who said this in an interview with our correspondent to mark the posthumous birthday of the media entrepreneur says, the late media magnate was the greatest contributor to democratic growth in Nigeria.

High Chief Raymond Dokpesi meant different things to different Nigerians across creed, tribes and ethnicity because of his contributions to Nigeria’s democracy and socio-economic growth through the instrumentality of the media.

As Nigerians celebrate his seventy-second posthumous birthday, Kano state commissioner for information, Baba Dantaye is happy that Dokpesi’s looked beyond himself in all he did for Nigeria.

Kano state commissioner for science technology and innovation wants his children and those responsible in managing his conglomerate to show respect to the memory of the late icon and be diligent in managing his wealth.

Raymond Dokpesi died on May 29, 2023 at the age of seventy one and his memory has never died in the hearts of his family, employees, political associates and loved ones.
