The Supreme Court Judgement Affirming Financial Autonomy for the 774 local government areas in the country has been described by Lagos residents as a welcome development that would translate to more dividends of democracy at the third tier of government across the country.
AIT News went round Lagos metropolis Friday to seek the views of the people on what many described as a landmark judgement.

Some respondents however warned the people at the grassroots to hold their council officials accountable for their actions as they discharge their constitutional responsibilities.
