Executives of the People’s democratic party in Benue State have urged the Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia to immediately rescind the sack order he issued to civil servants employed from May 2022 to date describing the action as arbitrary, misguided, and unpopular.
Acting Chairman of the PDP stated this while reacting to the State Government’s decision to equally reverse promotions, postings as well as contract appointments.
This directive by the Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia nullifying appointments made from May 2022 to date has created a serious reaction from the main opposition party in the State the People’s Democratic Party.

They want the Governor to immediately reverse the decisions which they term as unpopular, unlawful and insensitive.
The opposition party equally faulted his security initiative insisting that it lacked legal backing.
According to them Governor Alia has started on a wrong footing by executing weighty actions without due process.
