The Kwara State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, on Sunday observed special prayers against recent attacks on persons of other faiths particularly in northern Nigeria in compliance with the directive of the Christian association of Nigeria urging churches to remain resolute in pushing for a more national tolerance among Nigerians irrespective of religion.
Speaking to AIT in one of the churches monitored at Unity Baptist Church, the state scribe of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Rev Reuben Ibitoye noted that Nigeria being a secular state must have citizens who can learn and appreciate how to accommodate the teachings of different faiths in the country.
