The remains of the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi, has been laid to rest.
The monarch died around 2am on Sunday at the age of 95 after reigning for 48 years.

He was buried according to Islamic rites at about 4:30pm inside a vault in the palace.
The burial prayer was conducted by the Chief Imam of Ogbomoso,
Tholiat Oluwasina Ayilara.
Dignitaries including, the deputy governor of Oyo state, former governors of the state have since been paying their last respect to the late traditional ruler since the news of the death of the monarch filtered into the town early Sunday.
