The National Association of Resident Doctors, NARD has declared a seven-day warning strike over the abduction of their colleague, Dr. Ganiyat Popoola in Kaduna State, North-West Nigeria.
Dr. Popoola who was abducted along with her nephew in December 2023 has spent over eight months ago in terrorists captivity.

In a communique signed by the NARD President, Dele Abdullahi, the strike by Resident Doctors started on Monday, August 26, 2024, at 12am.
