The leadership of the North Central Caucus of Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors, NARD, have again appealed to relevant Authority to address Demands by the association especially the reinstatement of five sacked Doctors in the Federal Teaching Hospital, Lokoja Kogi State for their involvement in union activities.
The Leader of the North Central Caucus, NARD, Dr. Fanen Dogoh made this appeal during a press conference on the preparation of the association’s planned strike on Monday January 12, 2026
For the North Central Caucus of the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors, NARD, there is no going back on the planned strike.they called on Government to avert the strike by implementing the demands of the association.

The group also insist that the five sacked Doctors from Federal Teaching Hospital, FTH, Lokoja must be reinstated.
They also addressed challenges around brain drain in the health sector and called for more attention to boost health workers’ confidence in contributing to the growth of the sector in Nigeria.
