Activities at the Delta State University Teaching Hospital (DELSUTH) were completely paralysed on Friday with hundreds of patients left unattended to and unable to access medical care following a nationwide strike embarked on by the Association of Resident Doctors in the State.
The usually busy hospital was a shadow of itself with patients left stranded when AIT visited.

Management of the hospital was however putting efforts in place to fill the vacuum left behind by the doctors.
