Residents of Esun Ekiti and Imojo Ekiti, whose monarchs were killed on Monday, have said that they suspect that assassination was responsible for the deaths of their respected monarchs.
The residents said on Tuesday that nothing was stolen from the monarchs, and their driver was untouched.
They are appealing to law enforcement agencies to unravel the mysteries behind the killing of the monarchs.

The two monarchs, Obas Babatunde Ogunsakin and Olatunde Olusola were killed on Monday while returning to their communities after a security committee meeting held in Ipao, Ekiti.
