A leader of revolutionNow Protest Group, Olawale Bakare, was among persons arrested in Osogbo, the Osun state capital by operatives of the Department of State Services.
Olawale alongside dozens of other members of the Revolution Now group had converged on the popular Olaiya junction in Osogbo to stage a protest against what the called bad governance, lack of infrastructure, extra judicial killings, when the armed the security agents arrived.

Bakare and two others were also arrested, as others fled to evade arrest.
