Rising Insecurity

Some Clergymen in Yenagoa says Nigeria is in her present security challenges because the nation has not taken decisive measures to fight insecurity in the country.

Reacting on the rising insecurity threats in Bayelsa State, the clergymen say christians should not relent in exposing the bad eggs among them and prayed to God for his peace to reign upon the land.

At the dawn of everyday nigerians are greeted with one story of either herdsmen farmers clashes, unknown gunmen attacks, cases of kidnapping among other forms of criminal activities on the news and the internet.
These have left servants of God in Yenagoa to call on christians to rise up to the occasion by taking responsibility of ensuring security around them through prayers.

While discouraging sponsors of kidnappers to turn away from their evil acts they also urged government functionaries, Traditional Rulers and security Agencies never to be accomplices of bad elements around them.

They said if everyone does the right thing in reporting suspicious characters around them without becoming victims of it at the end of the day, security Agencies will have intelligence reports to work with.
