The Rivers State Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok Ibas, retired says the Trans-kalabari road project is a strategic effort aimed at addressing the socio-economic difficulties experienced by residents in the riverine communities.
He says it’s important that the project is completed on schedule as it will significantly boost the socio-economic status of Rivers State and Nigeria as a whole.
Vice Admiral Ibok Ibas was speaking after he inspected work on the Trans-kalabari Road Project and some other ongoing projects, including the residential quarters of permanent
secretaries in Obio Akpor local government area.
