RIVERS
Rivers State Attorney-General, Dagogo Iboroma and Martins Amaewhule

The Rivers State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Dagogo Iboroma has presented what he says is proof showing that the State High Court never declared Martins Amaewhule and 26 others as members of the Peoples Democratic Party and State House of Assembly as was widely claimed in the media.

It was widely reported on Monday that Justice Okogbule Gbasam had declared that the Martins Amaewhule led 27 lawmakers of the Rivers State House of Assembly are still members of the PDP.

Armed with a certified true copy, CTC of the judgment, Iboroma says his position has finally been confirmed and vindicated even as he further clarified that the court only dismissed the suit for want of jurisdiction, ordered that the PDP be joined in the suit as fourth defendant and dismissed the claimants’ case for lacking merit.
