Reports reaching ait.live say President Bola Tinubu on Thursday met behind closed doors with the Governor of Rivers State, Simi Fubara at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The Governor did not speak to Newsmen at the end of the meeting on the reason for his visit, and it could not be verified if the meeting was connected to the implementation of the 8-point agreement signed by the Governor and other leaders of the State during the last peace meeting at the Villa, following the political misunderstanding with the immediate past Governor of the State and current Minister of the FCT, Nyeson Wike.
There is no official statement from the Presidency on Governor Fubara’s visit to the President.
