Some youths have staged a peaceful demonstration to the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, calling on the chairman of the electoral body, Professor Mahmood Yakubu to review results posted on its portal on March 25th and 26th for Khana constituency in Khana local government area of the State.
The youths during the protest alleged discrepancies in the results which they described as fictitious just as they expressed regret that the electoral umpire has failed in its promise to deliver free, fair and credible elections.

They urged INEC to discard the results uploaded on its portal on the 25th and 26th of March, 2023, saying the figures posted do not reflect what happened at the polling units during the March 18 elections.
Addressing the protesters who also called on security agencies to beam their searchlight on electoral body, Head of voter education at the Rivers State office of INEC, Mark Usolor assured the protesting youths that their demands would be directed to the appropriate quarters for consideration and possible action
