Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State has assured residents that his administration will complete all ongoing projects in the state.
Governor Umahi gave the assurance during an unscheduled inspection visit to some ongoing road projects across four council areas in the South Senatorial District of the State.
The projects inspected includes, the failed portion of Afikpo – Okigwe High way in Afikpo North Council Area, the Akaeze bridge in Ivo Council Area, the Amasiri – Owutu – Ekoli Edda road in Afikpo South Council Area, and the Uburu – Akaeze road in Ohaozara Council Area.
The Ebonyi state Chief Executive said he had to embark on the construction of another lane for the Amasiri-Owutu road because of the high rate of accidents that usually occurred on the hilly route while the 13.9 kilometre Uburu – Akaeze road in Ohaozara Council Area, was for economic reasons.
