Special Road Safety Corps Marshalls in Abuja have appealed to the Nigerian government and officials of the Federal Road Safety Commission to create mobile courts to try traffic offenders, especially during the ember months.
The appeal was made at the flag-off of the Road Safety ember-month campaign in Abuja,The Corps sector commander, Ochi Oga urged drivers and other road users to avoid the consumption of alcohol and refrain from excess speed.
The ember – month campaign is an annual event of the Road Safety Corps to educate drivers and other road users on the importance of safe journeying, especially during festive seasons.
