A policeman has been shot dead by armed robbers who attacked a commercial Bank at Onueke , in Ezza South Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
Details of the incident are still sketchy but AIT gathered that the robbers invaded the bank on Tuesday afternoon and carted away an undisclosed amount of money.
A source said the robbers after their operations at the bank, entered the popular Onueke park where they interfaced with security men, killing one.

When contacted, the state Commissioner of Internal Security and Border Peace, Stanley Okoro-Emegha confirmed the incident, while the Police spokesperson, DSP Loveth Odah, said she was not yet briefed.
