The palace of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, seems to be unsettled by statement allegedly released by the Queen (Olori) Naomi Silekunola announcing her decision to call it quit with the monarch.

This is as the spokesperson of the Ooni of Ife, Moses Olafare on Friday said the palace is probing possible hacking of Olori Naomi’s Instagram page.

Olafare said such announcement of separation is subject to an agreement by both parties and to that extent the palace is not aware of any separation because they all went to bed on Wednesday night.

He maintained that if the queen went to her social media to write that she is no longer in marriage with Ooni, the palace will look into it to see whether or not the Instagram page truly belonged to her, and to know the reason behind it.

He said Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, still loves his queen, Prophetess Naomi Silekunola adding the King was packaging a special Christmas gift for her.

Olori Silekunola had on Thursday morning stated on her Instagram page that she would no longer be addressed as the queen of Ile Ife but as the queen of the People.

Olori Naomi Silekunola married Ooni Adeyeye Ogunwusi in 2018, after the former Olori Wuraola divorced the monarch in 2017 as a result of irreconcilable differences.
