Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Friday inspected the deployment of 100,000 solar home systems to unserved and underserved communities.
This begins the phase two programme that will enable five million new off grid connections tagged solar power Naija under the Economic sustainability plan, currently about five hundred household in Jangefe community in Jigawa state have solar home systems.
The program which is a private sector led is facilitated by the central bank of Nigeria, implemented by the rural Electrification Agency with the NDPHC chaired by the vice President serving as the guarantor.
