Hundreds of Parents of Nigerian students in Ukraine say it took forty- Eight hours after the Ukraine invasion before the Federal Government could respond to the emergency after much persuasion from them and well meaning Nigerians.
The parents spoke to AIT’s Funke Ogunlolu while waiting for the arrival of Airpeace airline carrying 181 evacuees.
Airpeace airline arrives at 6:30pm with the minister of humanitarian affairs, Sadiyat Umar Farouk and other officials as some journalist were barred from entering the Airside.

The 3rd batch of 350 evacuees are expected to arrive around 2:30am on Saturday, 5th March 2022 since Operational hitches necessitated the shift in time from 2:30pm.
