The Supreme Court has reserved judgment in the appeal lodged against the decision of the court of appeal which directed the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to recognise Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe as the candidate of the PDP for the Cross River State North Senatorial Council.
The date of the judgement would be communicated to the parties in the appeal.
The appeal was lodged by John Odey against the decision of the court of appeal which prevented INEC from recognising him as the senator even after he was inaugurated.

He stated that the court of appeal refused to set aside the consequential orders made by the trial court despite the fact that the case was a gross abuse of the judicial process.
