The staff of Dana Airline who were disengaged about two weeks ago, on Tuesday staged a peaceful protest at the Lagos headquarters of the company, over claims of several months of unpaid salaries and other benefits.
The protesting workers were sacked following the suspension of the operations of the Airline by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), after one of the aircraft belonging to the Airline overshot the Runway in April.
The Management of the Airline is yet to respond to the demands of the protesters, as efforts to get officials to speak on the development was unsuccessful.
Dana Air, had on 11th May disengaged its staff following the suspension of the Airline’s operations by NCAA after one of its aircraft skidded off the Multala Mohammed Airport, Lagos runway on 24th April 2024.
