The students of Salihu Tanko Islamiyya School, Tegina, have been released, after spending about eighty seven days with their abductors.
The students were said to have been released Thursday evening, and are already on their way to Minna, the Niger State capital.

They are expected to be conveyed to Government House, where they will formally be received by the State Government.
The abductors had received ransoms from the parents of the students on different occasions.
