Goods Worth Millions of naira have been destroyed by an early morning fire outbreak at the popular Sapele main market waterside, in Sapele local government area of Delta state.
It was gathered that the fire which started around 2am, razed down most of the shops that were mainly used as warehouses for goods.
Local sources said before the firefighters could get to the scene, majority of the shops were already consumed by the inferno.

Attempts to reach the local government chairman, Honorable Eugene Inoagha, for his reaction unsuccessful.
While the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, sympathizers and the affected traders are appealing for government assistance.
