As part of measures to sustain its home-grown feeding scheme, a total of 464,000 feeding utensils has been provided by the supervising Minister of humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development for the use of pupils in Benue State.
The Minister represented by the deputy director administration, Ladan Haruna handed over the utensils to the State government in Makurdi, the Benue state capital.
Receiving the feeding items and handing some over to the state representative for onward disbursement to the respective local councils, secretary to the State government who represented the State Governor assured the ministry of its total corporation to ensure its Success.

Other critical stakeholders who graced the event appealed that the feeding programme be extended to the nursery pupils who were not considered to bepart of the programme.
