The Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation, Ogbonnaya Onu says no Nation can become great without paying special attention to Science, Technology, and Innovation.
Ogbonnaya, who stated this in Okada, Ovia North-East local government area of Edo State, while delivery a lecture as a special guest of honour said In line with the presidential directives on the implementation of Executive Order 5, the ministry will be establishing Science, Technology Innovation Centres across the six geopolitical zones For global competitiveness.
He said for Nigeria to achieve sustainable and inclusive industrialization, the country must embrace science Technology, and Innovation.
Onu further stated that the lack of cohesion from the nation’s institute of research and the universities in the country is a challenge that must be address if the nation must move forward.

The minister said the federal government through his ministry is working hard to ensure that the country deploys science, technology, and innovation for nation-building.
Earlier, Ogbonnaya Onu, paid the governor of Edo state Godwin Obaseki, a courtesy visiting in government house Benin City.
