A few hours before the primary, one of the presidential aspirants on the platform of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, DOROTHY AKENOVA, has stepped down.
Akenova announced her withdrawal from the race at a news briefing in Abuja.
Akenova from Niger State said she withdrew to support Adewale Adebayo, an aspirant from the south.
Akenova’s withdrawal has brought the number of aspirants from six to five.
