Volunteer divers and fishermen have began the search for the remains of the five persons who drowned in the Niger state boat mishap which occurred in the early hours of Friday.
The volunteers have been making frantic efforts to recover the bodies of the three women and two babies involved.

Members of the families as well as Gurmana community members are giving the volunteers the support they require to recover the bodies of the drown persons.
The drowned persons boarded the boat from Gurmana village to Kuta to escape from bandits’ attacks which were launched on Thursday.
