Security Operatives Assure Bauchi Residents Of Peaceful Christmas, New Year Celebrations

Joint Security Operatives In Bauchi State have assured residents of peaceful Christmas and New year Celebrations Across the state.

Bauchi state Commissioner of Police Auwal Mohammed gave the assurance during the show of force demonstrations held in Bauchi State North East Nigeria.

The Joint Security team displayed their skills in preparedness for the task ahead in Bauchi to ensure safety for all as Christians celebrate Christmas.

Speaking to Journalists, Bauchi state Commissioner of Police Auwal Mohammed says the aim of the Combined Security Show of force exercise is to create security awareness on the need for people to be law abiding and to express the readiness of the security operatives to provide adequate protection of lives and property before, during and after the Christmas and new year celebrations

CP Auwal Mohammed called on those trying to take advantage of the celebrations to truncate the peace being enjoyed by the people of Bauchi and beyond to have a change of mind insisting that their negative tendencies would not be tolerated.He warned that the law will take its course on anyone found wanting.

The show of force exercise saw the presence of various security operatives including Nigerian Army, Security And Civil Defence Corps as well as State Security Service led by Bauchi state Commissioner of Police who went round the state to ensure security during and after Christmas in Bauchi State.
