Senate committee pledges to Work with NDDC to Develop Region

Members of the Senate committee on Niger Delta have pledged to work with the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC to move the region forward.

Chairman Senate committee on Niger Delta Peter Nwaoboshi made the commitment when he led members of the committee to the NDDC headquarters in Port Harcourt.

Their visit was to see for themselves the level of work done so far at the commission’s headquarters buildin which is set for commissioning

The chairman of the Senate committee on Niger Delta Peter nwaoboshi, said they will continue to support the NDDC to pursue its mandate for the people of Niger Delta region.

The interim administrator of the NDDC, Effiong Akwa used the occasion of the visit to commend the senators for their cooperation.

Akwa however assured members of the committee that the NDDC will always pursue the interest of the Niger Delta people to enhance their future
